ATTENDANCE REQUIRED 1ST 3 DAYS OF QUARTER TO MAINTAIN ENROLLMENT. FINAL EXAM DAY WILL BE THE FIRST SATURDAY IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE LAST DAY OF CLASS. Catalog Description:
Explores aspects of Arab culture and emphasizes all skills of language acquisition: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Students also learn more about Arab society in general and about features of Arab culture that influence the use of the language in daily life. Focuses on developing communication skills. Cannot be taken for credit if ARAB 205 taken for credit. First in a sequence of three. Prerequisite: either ARAB 103 or ARAB 105.
