Syllabus Description (from Canvas):
In the first 1.5 weeks of the quarter, we will finish our textbook. Then we will start reading from the actual Hebrew Bible (Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia edition)! We'll read selections from before, during, and after the Judean exile, as well as selections chosen by you.
You will need to buy:

Catalog Description:
Explores select prose sections of the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament) in conjunction with English translations and commentaries. Emphasizes close readings, the grammatical insights of textual criticism, and the interpretive strategies and agendas of the English translations. Prerequisite: BIBHEB 512.
