In light of Turkey's political environmend, Temelkuran would like to meet with Turkish and American audiences where she can discuss the political environment in Turkey and how the US is facing similar threates with its press and democracy. Near Eastern Languages and Civilization, Turkish and Ottoman Studies Program is proud to present Ece Temelkuran's Public Lecture that will be followed by a reception in the Walker Ames Room. Temelkuran will also give a talk at the Elliot Bay Bookstore on her recent book of collected articles on Turkish politics and human rights issues.
