"Hacking the Academy: Simpson Center Digital Humanities Summer Fellows Showcase" features three projects by Simpson Center Digital Humanities Fellows. Among the three presentations is one by NELC Persian and Iranian Studies Program (PISP) Roshan Fellows Melinda Cohoon and Solmaz Shakerifard who will present their project "Digital Iran: Narratives of (De)colonization in Video Games."
Melinda Cohoon and Solmaz Shakerifard are writing their dissertations in the University of Washington's Interdisciplinary PhD Program in Near and Middle Eastern Studies on social media platforms and traditional Iranian music respectively.
