NELC Major Piper Coyner Awarded the 2020-21 Junior Medalist for High Scholarship

Piper Coyner, a NELC major whose studies include archeology, regional cultures and history, and both Persian and Arabic languages, was named the 2020-21 Junior Medalist for High Scholarship. The award celebrates top undergraduate students by recognizing outstanding academic record. Medalists are selected by a committee for their high GPA, rigor of their classes and number of Honors courses. Piper, who has previously was awarded a President's Medal during her first year at the University of Washington, is a double major in Cinema and Media Studies.
